Why stop at white bread, when you can create your own healthy version of chocolate bread complete with chocolate icing? To double the fun, put some chocolate spread on it.
- 1 cups coconut flour
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- ¼ cup raw cacao powder
- 1½ cup avocado, mashed
3 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2½ tablespoons coconut cream
- 3 tablespoons coconut nectar
- 2 eggs
- Pre heat oven to 180C.
- Mix coconut flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
Add the avocado and mix until creamy. If you’re feeling lazy, pulse it in a food processor.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and pulse to combine.
Bake at 180C until a toothpick inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean, approximately 45 minutes.
